50 App Ideas With the Build Prompt and the Channel That Gets Each One Its First Users

Every list of app ideas has the same gap: fifty names, a sentence each, and nothing that gets one built or in front of a user. The fifty here are read from this site's prompt library at build time, so each idea has the prompt that builds it and names the distribution channel it was written for. They are grouped by that channel, because the channel you can work is the filter that matters, and ranked by what builders on this site upvoted. Three of them have been run in Lovable with the credits recorded.

    Updated

App ideas hero: the title beside a card, every idea is a prompt in the library, each one names its distribution channel, ranked by what builders upvoted, three run in Lovable with credits counted, no market-size guesses, pick by the channel you can work

Why are these grouped by channel and not by category?

Because an app idea is only as good as its first hundred users, and those come from one channel. The prompts on this site were written with that rule: each one names a target channel and its Pro variant builds the mechanism for it into the app. So the fifty ideas below sit under the channel their prompt was written for. Pick the channel you can work every week, then the idea. The product-channel fit guide is the argument in full; the first 100 users page is what it looks like in practice.

Which of these did builders upvote?

The library has an upvote button per prompt. As of 26 September 2026 the table holds 232 votes across 76 prompts, from 10 January 2026 to 24 September 2026. It is one library's readers, not a market, and it is the only demand signal on this page that was measured rather than asserted.

A second signal, counts only: the generator has written 291 prompts for 115 people between 2 January 2026 and 23 September 2026. What they typed is theirs and stays out of this page.

What do three of them cost to build?

Three prompts from the library have been pasted into Lovable on this site with the credit balance read before and after. Two of the three are on this page; the third is a UI pattern most of them need.

    The idea-to-app guide, condensed.

The idea to app guide is the long form. For an idea that is not on this list, the generator writes the prompt in the same shape, with the channel section included.

What do the top results for this term leave out?

    • Knack, 50 Best Web App Ideas. Fifty names with a sentence each, 27 April 2026, no build guide, no channel, no demand data; trend words carry the argument.
    • Anything, 130+ app ideas. 132 ideas, 2 December 2025, two to four sentences each, no prompt, no channel, no demand data.
    • Base44, 10 app ideas. Ten with a problem, solution and why-it-works, 4 June 2026, one Gartner statistic, no prompt, no channel.

    What we did not publish

    • Market sizes or search volumes per idea. We did not measure them, so no idea here carries a number it did not earn.
    • The generator's inputs. 291 people described their own ideas to it; those stay theirs.
    • Ideas outside the library. A listicle can invent a fifty-first; this page cannot, by construction.

    Frequently asked

Where do these app ideas come from?↓
From the 131-prompt library on this site. The fifty on this page are read from it at build time: thirty small apps, fifteen SaaS patterns and five landing pages, each with the prompt that builds it and the distribution channel the prompt was written for. No idea here was typed for a listicle.
Which app ideas do builders actually want?↓
The upvote table on this site holds 232 votes across 76 prompts as of 26 September 2026. The top three are the SaaS foundation with auth and invites, the landing page with email opt-in, and the file upload with tagging. That is one data point from one library, not a market, and the page says so.
    How do I pick one?↓
By channel, not by idea. Every idea on this page is grouped under the channel its prompt targets: organic SEO, product-led growth, community, B2B outreach, paid or social. Pick the channel you can work every week, then pick an idea under it. An idea you cannot distribute is a weekend, not a product.
    Are these validated?↓
No, and neither are anyone else's lists. What is measured here: which prompts were upvoted, how many prompts the generator has written for people, and what three of these ideas cost to build in Lovable. Demand for each idea in the market is not on this page because we did not measure it.
Can I build these without coding?↓
Each idea's prompt was written for Lovable and reads as a brief: context, features in priority order, states, build order, safeguards. Paste it as one message. Three of them have been run on this site with credits recorded: 1.8, 9.5 and 10.4 credits. The free tier's daily credits cover the first.
What does the growth channel line mean?↓
Each prompt's Pro variant adds a Growth Features section that builds the distribution mechanism into the app itself: an invite loop for product-led growth, server-rendered pages with structured data for SEO, a shareable summary for B2B outreach. The channel named next to each idea is that section's target.
